Vernessa Hopkins is the owner and founder of VAH Consulting
a coaching and consulting firm dedicated to helping clients achieve their full potential and live fulfilling lives. Vernessa has over 25 years of experience in business, leadership, and coaching and is a certified Master Life Coach.
Vernessa's career began as a customer service representative and progressed to Vice President of Operations for Prudential Insurance, a Fortune 500 insurance company. She has a strong track record of success in the corporate world, and her ability to motivate and mentor others has helped her to develop strong leaders within the organization.
In addition to her corporate experience, Vernessa is also an entrepreneur, successfully owning and operating Tutor doctor of Montgomery and Bucks Counties and H3 Services. For the past six years, she has integrated her knowledge of business ownership. She now provides career and life coaching and development workshops for others to help them attain their fullest potential.
Vernessa has a Master's in Business Administration from Saint Joseph University and her BA in Marketing from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She is also active in her community, serving on the executive committees for SCORE (mentoring for small businesses) and the Community Youth Foundation. Vernessa also does speaking engagements. Her most recent event was the speaker at the 2019 Women's Symposium and led the seminar for Effective Business Writing. She also completed workshops with Montgomery Community College and has certifications; Certified Life Coach and Prosci Change Management.
Overall, Vernessa is very well-versed and is a dedicated and experienced professional with a passion for helping others succeed and live fulfilling lives.
Currently serves on the board for the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County where she is a member of the Inclusion Council.
